I am a DONA certified birth doula in NYC and the owner of Daring Doula, LLC. I am a NYC native and serve the Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Long Island communities. With a passion for advocacy and birth justice, I began working as a birth doula in 2021, but my education and interest began earlier than that. After the birth of my first daughter, I knew birthwork was my calling as I had to continually advocate for myself in the birth room. Coupled with my background in diversity, equity and inclusion, I have been effective in educating my clients on their rights and empowering them to birth freely and access the care they deserve at all times. I hold a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management which attests to my warm, friendly and positive demeanor and of course to my meal planning and storing expertise. I also hold an MS in Business and Leadership. I am a champion of chest-feeding within my communities as they historically had little support in breastfeeding initiation. I enjoy supporting families into parenthood with education, continuous support and practical tips, tricks, and sometimes a bit of humor through story-telling.
