About the Provider

I am a mother, wife, postpartum doula, reproductive justice advocate, and artist. I am the founder of Birthing Foresight Services LLC, an agency that provides postpartum support to mothers who have just given birth and have not yet received their required follow-up provider visit upon their 6th week postpartum. I work nationally providing needed support for postpartum families. My undergraduate degree from City College of New York focused on the educational improvement for United States youth through cultural inclusion and accuracy of historical occurrences within national curriculum. I acquired a Master’s of Science at Hunter College with a focus in Urban Affairs and Planning. I have a strong passion for, and seek to contribute to, psychosocial  and emotional improvement and healing, through birth work, the arts, rites of passage programming, and social engagement for the preservation of humanity as a whole. Among my scholarship in theater, I have performed playback theatre for the past five years especially around the subject of maternal mortality, reproductive justice and birth equity. I believe in honoring humanity with the hopes of influencing the current state of the system.   I seek to, and promote the possibility of, authentically approaching the “political” process through a lens of relearning and dismantling the process as we know it. Most importantly, I serve as an example for self improvement and am consistently engaged in inner work and healing. In order to positively impact society as a wholesome, healthy individual and involved parent, I believe that constant self assessment is required.
