I am a first-generation Queer, Dominican, born and raised in NYC. As a passionate middle child, I feel clearest in the gray areas of life. I am a byproduct of the diaspora, helping people feel like enough when the world wants us to be just one thing. 

In 2014, I graduated with a B.S. in Public Health from Syracuse University and went on to have a career in the federal government. From 2014-2016, I served as a Perinatal Health Educator for the Peace Corps in Guatemala. There I learned about traditional midwifery practices, hosted pregnancy support groups, facilitated workshops on curriculum development and adult learning strategies with health staff, and conducted postpartum house visits with new parents.

From 2017-2022, I was an emergency management specialist for the General Services Administration. In that role, I supported FEMA with disaster relief efforts in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, I hosted monthly emergency preparedness workshops for 700+ GSA employees across the Region.

I have been supporting families as a doula since 2019 when I completed my first training with Mama Glow. Since then I have received mentorship from Manhattan Birth and the Conscious Birth Collective. Currently, I am a herbalism apprentice with Empress Karen Rose of Sacred Vibes Apothecary.

When not doula-ing you can find me blasting reggaeton or pretending to be a sportsbian in my Queer softball league. I am endlessly loved by my formerly mean cat, Pablo, my always affectionate dog, Charlie, and my partner, Goose.
