Dr. Charlene Emmanuel is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Emmanuel is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a strong commitment to women’s health and research. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to advancing the field of obstetrics and gynecology through clinical practice, academic contributions, and leadership roles.

After earning her medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Emmanuel completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University School of Medicine, where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of women’s healthcare. During her residency, she was recognized for Excellence in Research Inquiry by the Emory University Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Emmanuel has served in various administrative leadership positions. Notably, she has been an OB/GYN Site Director at NewYork-Presbyterian’s Broadway Practice of the Ambulatory Care Network, where she supervised a team of physicians and midwives, ensuring adherence to protocols and policies. Dr. Emmanuel’s journey as an Obstetrics and Gynecologist continues to be shaped by her commitment to health, research, and education.
