About the Provider

I am a birth and postpartum birth worker that provides continuous emotional, physical, spiritual, and educational support in the prenatal and postpartum period. My journey into birth work began when I was pregnant with my first child. At this point, I didn't really know much about birth or my own body at all. The more I learned, the more I grew to have respect for the body and for the process of labor and birth. Being pregnant opened the way for me to tune into my body in deeper ways and also brought me back to the ancestral ways we've traditionally cared for women/birthing people centuries ago.

Before entering birth work I worked as a college and career counselor, in many ways having the same role of providing information, advocacy, and continuous non judgmental support for people as they embark on a transition. I was naturally drawn to doula work because I had the same desire to support families, particularly those that our system often leaves behind, with the knowledge and options they have to make informed choices about their birth experience and have access to the quality care they deserve.

My goal as your support throughout this journey is to normalize the process as much as possible and to make space for you to find your inner strength and voice throughout this journey. My approach is intuitive, holistic, and tailored to each client's individual needs. I believe that everyone deserves the right to be seen, heard and have the space to learn to trust themselves through this very intense, transformational time.

At the moment I am offering postpartum services, lactation services and prenatal consultations. I look forward to connecting with you!
