Welcome! My name is Sarina. I am Mexican and Puerto Rican and am passionate about supporting, guiding and empowering the BIPOC community. I aim to provide doula care to all families, all backgrounds including but not limited to: BIPOC, single parents, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent families.

My journey began during 2022 when I recognized the need for comprehensive, inclusive and compassionate support for expectant parents. Drawing from my personal birth experience, as a woman of color, a mother and extensive knowledge as a certified birth doula, I set out to create a space that celebrates the beauty and strength of childbirth. Thus, Mariposa Doula Care was born.

As the heart and soul of Mariposa Doula Care, I am dedicated to helping families navigate every step of their journey. I understand the unique challenges and emotions that can arise during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. With my support, I strive to empower communities of color with knowledge, confidence, and a nurturing presence. I bring a diverse range of skills and experience in various aspects of childbirth support. Whether it's prenatal education, labor companionship, breastfeeding guidance, or postpartum care, I possess the knowledge needed to ensure that all families receive personalized and holistic care throughout their entire journey.
