About the Provider

I am a birth companion and postpartum doula who offers compassionate and grounded care for your journey.

As a queer latina with a background in community organizing, I recognize and uplift the many ways that our communities create family. Queer and trans, Black and brown, immigrant and second generation, single parent, partnered,  poly, intergenerational... our families are sacred in this world, and deserve to be held with sweetness and care. I believe in supporting the whole person - meeting people where they are with an open heart and respect for each individual’s needs and desires.

I came to birth work through my background in community organizing in immigration justice and reproductive justice spaces in my home state of Texas. I carry deep lessons from movement work and believe strongly in supporting people in accessing freedom, autonomy, and collective care through pregnancy and into the postpartum period.

Pregnancy and the postpartum period are times of enormous shift and transition, and can often bring unexpected thoughts and emotions. My work is informed by my experience as a care coordinator in the perinatal mental health field in NYC, where I worked to support families in accessing care from expert perinatal mental health professionals. I understand the complexity of navigating care options, and have helped many families connect with resources, both within themselves and their community.

My passion for advocacy, autonomy, systems transformation, justice, and liberation are woven into my work supporting birthing people. I also bring deep listening, movement, breath, and grounding, and a strong connection to the earth.
